The title of the exhibition refers to the eponymous imposing artwork installed in the former ballroom of Casino Luxembourg and composed of 356 photos in black and white placed on four low plinths. Half of the darkness condenses the artistic discourse of Pascal Grandmaison in recent years and weaves links with other (series of) artworks through a subtle game of formal and conceptual analogies.

TITLE: Pre-Post Actions in YouPorn’s categories of Sex.<br />

CONCEPT: YouPorn marked a turning point in the glossy world of Porn: it gave the users the chance to reshape radically the conception of sex, choosing, tagging and creating the categories they prefer. Categories that are many, free, creative and ever-increasing. <br />
We invite you to recount Porn focusing on Pre and Post moments, when faces are lighted by surreal expressions, when getting (un)dressed, when imagining, remembering.<br />
To explore the non-places of Porn picking one of YouPorn’s categories: it’s a great challenge, but telling about Porn using porn would be too easy.<br />
<br />
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:<br />
There will be a selection of the works. Please send a 72dpi image or a link to the video preview.<br />

MEDIA:<br />
Painting, Photography, Digital Art,Video.. there are no limits, but the artworks must respect the maximum dimensions of 50x50cm.<br />

This fall, the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao presents two special exhibitions: The Golden Age of Dutch and Flemish Painting from the Städel Museum (through January 23, 2011) and Haunted: Contemporary Photography/Video/ Performance (through March 13, 2011), featuring artworks from the past and the present, and allowing the viewer to understand some of the developments of contemporary art that have their foundations in the history of art.
